Co-founder, partner-president of the architecture firm Richez_Associés, and director of Z_D R in Kuala Lumpur, Thomas Richez has been the president of AFEX (Association of French Architects for Export) from 2002 to 2008.
Architect, engineer and urban designer, he developed an integrated approach of architecture, urban design and landscape.
Thomas Richez designed numerous projects through Europe and Asia: three towers in Euralille (Lille), the French Embassy in Singapore, Le Havre Conference Center, Cité Municipale in Bordeaux and Jinan Opera, in partnership with Paul Andreu, les Grisettes development in Montpellier, and major mobility projects: tramways in Le Mans, Paris,Orléans, Brest, Tours, Angers, Casablanca, Liège… as well metro stations from Paris to Toulouse.
He is currently working on several commissions on the Grand Paris metro stations, continues the export activity of Richez_Associés with tramway projects in Brazil and Mexico, the Grand Marché of Bouaké in Ivory Coast, and manages the Richez_Associés innovation lab, key instrument of its environmental and social transition.
