Since 2003, he has been a transport planner at the Rhein-Sieg-Kreis public transport authority in Siegburg, department “Transport and Mobility”, responsible for the updating of the local transport plan, the planning of the public transport offer, the strategic development of public transport and the extension of the tramway network. To add another string to his bow, he became a permanent contributor to the specialist journal “stadtverkehr”, various books published by Robert Schwandl Verlag on urban railway systems in Europe.
