Marc Delayer holds a DEA in Transport Economics and began his career at the Société des Transports Collectifs Rochelais. After spending two years in Zaire, he joined the CGFTE in April 1992 and spent nearly 10 years at the head of various structures. In Cholet, (creation of the Choletbus network), then in Calais (management of STCE and presidency of CAT) and finally in La Rochelle (management of Océcars and Océtour). In 2002, he joined the Communauté d’Agglomération du Choletais as Head of Transport and created Transports Publics du Choletais, of which he became General Manager on 1 January 2003. Marc Delayer has been a member of the AGIR board since 2005, and chaired the Public Transport Purchasing Centre from 2011 to 2021.
